Stephen Phillips from San Francisco, United StatesYou've broken some composition rules here. And you've done this successfully. That stark white line on the black asphalt adds to the surreal feel of this complex image. It is a strong counterpoint to the scrambled sky. I love all of the lines, shadows, reflections, angles and values. Nicely done. 26 Jul 2008 5:24am @Stephen Phillips: that's an insightful comment. thanks stephen. ordinaryimages from KY Bluegrass, United Statespeaceful arrangement of shapes with a counter point. best...jf 26 Jul 2008 12:45pm @ordinaryimages: thanks jerry daina from United StatesThe white line makes the image striking. (something i can never seem to do.) taffer from sant boi de llobregat, Spainlooks like a simple composition at first sight but it's wonderful how every tiny part of this image has its own universe of elements, play of light and textures. 29 Jul 2008 9:13pm @taffer: i really appreciate your thoughtful comment @Twelvebit: :) - thanks GJC from Kyoto, JapanSuperb composition.
