NILLA from SwedenIt seems like the clouds are resting on the top of the trucks. The fence make the photo much interesting. Cu 17 Aug 2008 6:59am @NILLA: i appreciate the comment. thanks nilla. Stovepipe from Ames, Iowa, United StatesI don't know why but this almost made me burst out laughing. Well seen and captured. 17 Aug 2008 12:06pm @Stovepipe: i can think of reasons, but like a joke, explanations ruin it. so, i'll just say thanks. Polydactyle from Montréal, CanadaNice shot. The three "moving?" create a funny movement on this pic. Does that make sense... maybe be not. Great shot then. 17 Aug 2008 11:50pm @Observing: yea, that's great. do you remember when the blues brothers did that song in the movie - hilarious. P.J. from United StatesVery nice image. If the fence wasn't there, I don't know if I would dig the image. But I like how the U-Haul is peeking over the top -- besides the one. Interesting stuff. 18 Aug 2008 3:25am sherri from Little Rock, Arkansas, United StatesI've been to Overland Park. My husband has a distant cousin who lives there. I know you must be thrilled:-) Yes, indeed these trucks are being well used. As a matter of fact for reasons I shall not go into we've used them so many times through the years I get a sick feeling just seeing one. Don't get me wrong; I like your image. It's just bad memories to recall all my stuff in boxes in one of these. I'm a nester:-) Greyscale was a great choice. 18 Aug 2008 4:23am @sherri: thanks for the comment sherri. i guess these trucks are bound to evoke memories of moving for people - and moves are emotional events, for good or bad. it is good to hear from someone whose been to overland park too. dj.tigersprout from San Bruno, CA, United Statesa wonderful eye you have mate -- excellently seen! i love the sky above and the foreground shadow work. awesome. 18 Aug 2008 4:56am @dj.tigersprout: appreciated as always dj bluechameleon from Vancouver, CanadaThe simplest of things you manage to make fascinating...that's art! 19 Aug 2008 12:41pm @bluechameleon: that's really nice of you, thanks! |
