Is it a long exposure shot? 22 Sep 2008 12:35pm @Lucca: thanks lucca. no, it's just the regular holga shutter speed, whatever that is, and asa 400 film. (i have probably a hundred indoor holga shots that looked good in my mind and didn't work out at all.) sherri from Little Rock, Arkansas, United StatesI love the cage. Such fine detail. The twisty thing on top of the cage is such a marvelous finishing touch to an image with charm, nostalgia and subtlety. Love the lines in the cage together with the window curtain. And the composition and light - what can one say? There is poetry here. 22 Sep 2008 2:12pm @daina: diana, your comments are always so interesting. usually the best i can manage is something like "i really like it." ordinaryimages from Kentucky Bluegrass, United Statessuperb! the gauzy background is a treat. best...jerry 22 Sep 2008 2:19pm Elaine- from Vancouver, Canadaoh my, what a strikingly beautiful photograph.. it reminds me of being at a person's house that i really love.. the curtains in the background leave a soft light that is very charming, and draws me in 22 Sep 2008 3:36pm @Elaine-: that's a great compliment. thanks elaine.
