a perfect composition -- it all works marvelously! love all the layers of tone and texture -- the leaves in the fore, the long smooth wooden planks of the fence, the scraggly branches -- excellently done! beautiful tones -- as always!!

Very nice! Hmm... this fence just stops abruptly. It is fencing just the tree?!

@Howard F.: thanks howard. it's a fairly busy street. i think it's just there for privacy, or maybe to screen sound. it stops for the driveway.

Another great shot! I really like the barriers you provide in so many of your images...it makes one feel the need to tip-toe around and have a look at what is on the other side. Nice work!

@Observing: i'm not exactly sure mike. i think the fence is mostly for privacy. i was standing on their driveway.

Some of your photos I just find myself staring at and I don't know why. The subject of course but it's also the simple little things like the leaves coming through the fence that make it for me.
