The two houses seem downright snuggle together. I agree with Lisa, the free space in front of the buildings and the high sky above them makes the photo. Great images!

Very desolate. The concrete is wall to wall with no room for things of beauty. No wonder you felt as if you could feel/breathe the air around my meadow flowers.

Is the economy doing this or are you purposely seeking out abandoned structures. Don't get me wrong, you know I like abandoned structures, but I'm curious too. Love it in greyscale...nice composition.

PS...the reason I asked is I saw my home town of Dayton, Ohio in the top 10 cities of decline or some such title. All of the industry has left taking the jobs with them.

@sherri: sherri - i don't mind the question at all. but, actually, these buildings aren't abandoned. i just tend to show up an unpopular times - saturday and sunday afternoons.

the relationships of objects and space in your photos always keeps me on the edge of my proverbial 'seat' -- wonderfully done here mate -- my favorite parks of course: the arched tire track marks and that wonderful sky!
