There is a satellite suburb near us that these photos remind me of. It's got a lot of businesses but there is an unkempt, abandoned look to them. This one here would fit right in, it could have been taken there. I really like the curve off to the left combined with the rectangle of building on the right.

@Twelvebit: i really appreciate the comment (although i think it's too self-critical). this is my favorite kind of photo to take. but sometimes i wonder if i've gone a little crazy spending so much time on these forgotten places.
