Everything is good here Grant . 28 Dec 2008 11:23am @Robert: thanks robert. (it seems to be, if they let these poles be a little more like trees, they would waste a lot less.) @Manel: thanks manel JJ from Jersey City, United StatesWonderful long shadows, I took like how you have given the pole prominence I wouldnt have thought of that but it works so well into the shot 28 Dec 2008 2:04pm daina from United StatesYes, I think this image is all about the pole. Even though the other elements are terrific it is the surprising placement of the pole that captures one’s attention and introduces the photographer into the image. It makes one aware of the frame and the choices one has. It says heck with the scenic this is about photography and awareness etc. (at least to me :} ) 28 Dec 2008 2:10pm @daina: that's a great comment. i have that reaction to so many photos, to many of yours in fact - the sense that looking is, or can be, an active choice. paolo from Castelnuovo di Garfagnana, ItalyArchie Garage it's in a very nice place! 28 Dec 2008 3:05pm Don Wiley from spokane, United StatesI like this garage shot.
