Love how the air conditioners look like a protrusion of the window squares. The building and street frame this very interesting window and its contents with a very textural grittiness. It looks very alive...

AC units have to be one of the most ugly yet interesting features that we stick onto our buildings. This is a great study of the ugly/beauty aesthetic.

Looking at the windows I can but guess at the interior, possibly dark and dusty, and I can't imagine aircon would improve the conditions. Good document Grant.

This takes on a human feel almost. Like a building wanting to be recognised. The boxes looks like bulbous eyes on a robots bolted together face.
