The mane is really magnificent. I like very much the neatness of the foreground in particular on nostrils.
I search what is this Mamiya and i find this is very particular...

@Annie Viguié: it's a bit unwieldy, but i like it so far. i've only had it a few weeks.
Looks as weary and as weathered as many of the buildings you show us...

Don't get me wrong. I love your architecture and abandoned scene photos. But I am always pleasantly surprised by your occasional images of living beings. Beautiful horse.

Man this is a great camera..I mean the photographers not bad either but you know what I mean.

@lisa v: it is quite a camera.
This made me smile. I don't know if it's the foliage around the fencepost or what, but my first thought was, "unicorn!" But there's no horn!

Horses can be so curious when a stranger approaches their pasture land. This is a fine looking horse. I like the bramble covered fence too.

I commented on your shot last night Grant.... must have failed to click on "post comment"! I do that now and again. Horses and I have an agreement... I won't bother them if they agree to leave me alone! None-the-less, they are beautiful animals and you captured this one with great style! Really like the shot!

@Bill: thanks for coming back bill.
The horse looks a bit human – I think it is the hairdo and it seems to have an amused look in the eye. Something friendly about it and very nice. Lovely warmth in this image.

Such a soft portrait of this beautiful creature. The barbed wire fence in the forefront adds to this image nicely.

Nice shot. I like the way you framed it.

i seem to have missed some great stuff whilst i've been away: it's been a pleasure to catch up on though...this in particular is just terrific.

@david: thanks david
I love horses by usually stay away from photographing them because I'm afraid the results will be trite. Once again you've managed to get beyond the ordinary.
