The building looks 2 dimensional like a movie set flat with nothing behind it and I like the dark shape of the grass in front that echoes the shape of the trees behind. – then there is the shadow of the circle. The common place becomes perplexing and unusual seen through your lens.

I like the contrast of the friendly welcome sign and the drapes that are drawn. Add to this mystery the shadow on the wall. Cool find and of course fantastic composition!

the drawings at the top of the windows do make the place feel welcoming - like there is cheerfulness inside even it isn't an expensive facility. love the that circular shadow.

@michele: i liked this place when i saw it for exactly that reason - the cheerfulness seemed genuine despite the circumstances.
