Marvelous. 3 Jul 2009 11:29am dj.tigersprout from New York City, United Stateswonderful isolation and tranquility... over the hedge, another world! 3 Jul 2009 11:42am Marcie from Newton, United StatesLove the deep rich grey tones in this. Nice composition and choice of focus. 3 Jul 2009 2:28pm Don from spokane, United StatesI like the inherent contrast of the primitive brush and the cultivated landscape. The Seagull did a good job for you. 3 Jul 2009 3:14pm Stephen Phillips from San Francisco, United StatesGood B&W Grant - I love the silver post in the foreground. 3 Jul 2009 5:03pm daina from New York, United StatesThe square format concentrates everything and one feels restricted as if peering over the shrubbery to a more open view. It does make one focus on the details in the foreground in contrast to the less distinct landscape in the distance. And the creek connecting the two makes for a terrific composition. 3 Jul 2009 5:19pm sherri from Little Rock, Arkansas, United StatesLooks like you stood in a lot of high growth for this one. It's a fine capture. Hope the chiggers didn't get you:-) 3 Jul 2009 7:12pm Lambspun from Madison, Maine, United StatesNice capture....bet a lot of farm animals rely on this creek in places unknown. 3 Jul 2009 9:05pm bluechameleon from Vancouver, CanadaThe tones are amazing...what a beautiful scene. 5 Jul 2009 3:55am Tammy-Cricket from United StatesYou are in my backyard!
