Once again, your handsome contrast and spare look...but this one puzzles me...I have to say that is the shortest driveway I've ever seen...and quite a drop off, too ;-)
"And will you meet me in Paradise Alley tonight / We'll leave town in a bottle of whiskey / And come on, you old scarecrow, and be a wheel, not a lamppost / Just put a saddle on a wishbone, and you're halfway there" (Tom Waits)
You find the most beautiful abandoned places on these roads even if they try to hide like this beauty. A great photograph, Grant! Like it a lot. All the best & safe travels, Fritsch.
Talk about living too close to the road! Plus it looks like there is a step up to the garage door. Looks like that wouldn't work :( I guess they widened the road and messed with their property line....Very nice find and cool shot.
It's hard to know whether the house is emerging or submerging. But it is definitely in rather close communion with nature!

Hmm... there is a bit of height difference between the road and the garage. Is this for a hovercraft? Great find. Feels like this house is being squeezed by the vegetation...
